  • Details:  This antique plate is absolutely beautiful and showcases exquisite Austrian craftsmanship!  It has a hand painted design, featuring large pink roses and blue Forget Me Nots on a Green and Teal Blue background.  The porcelain is embossed with lots of swirls and the ornate cuts on the rim are really gorgeous.  The backstamp dates it from the late 19th century to 1918. There are a couple of numbers on the plate, "2656", and "70", possibly the pattern and/or mold numbers.  This plate is a true antique treasure, it will add a touch of elegance to your home, perfect for display on a wall or cabinet.
  • Material:  Porcelain
  • Dimensions:  8.75 inches in Diameter
  • Condition:  Antique - Used.  Very Good Antique Condition, considering its age.  No chips or cracks.  Some paint loss as acceptable due to age/use/wear.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we cannot accept returns.  Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.

The "STAR – Austria" backstamp was a common mark, used by many different makers.  What experts agree on is this mark indicates the piece was made between the late 19th century and and early 20th century and definitely before 1918, before the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918.
